Things to try

Curving the Cue Ball in Pool

A flashy simple trick to learn at the pool table. All you need is a cue stick, a cue ball, and a good place to learn. Throughout this journey I learned the importance of chalk, elevating the cue, and most of all.. practice. It is important to note that most pool halls will not allow you to sit up on the table and strike your cue into it. So be wary of that. For more information and a quick how-to visit the link above!

Lock Picking

We've all seen it in the spy movies, the captor has got the good guy. The only way out.. is to pick the lock. This skill was so much fun to learn because I now have an understanding of what its like to feel for the pins, to finally get the right motion, and hear the click of a lock all without the use of a key. In my steps to completing this I started easy with a transparent lock, then moved on to your typical padlock, and finally a simple door lock. All of this within a few days. The Top Shot Card Trick

A slick card trick which consists of flicking the top card of the deck over to your other hand. This is typically used in slight of hand to make it look like the card shoots from the middle of the deck. In three days I went from not knowing how to hold the deck to almost successfully throwing the card across consistently, and you can too! For more information and a quick how-to visit the link above!
